en el 2008, organizada por el Parlamento y la Comisión Europea. Dado el elevado peso de la industria cerámica española en
el contexto europeo, 6.000 M€ sobre un total de 27. 000 M€, y la importancia de su aportación al Producto Interior Bruto
nacional, sería conveniente que el entorno productivo aproveche la oportunidad para analizar la estrategia de futuro. [EN] The European Union thorough the European Ceramic Industries association, CERAME-UNIE, elaborate since 2004 a sectorial diagnostic and the published draft (9-09-2006) was transcribed in the Boletin Sociedad Española Ceramica y Vidrio issue 1 of 2007. This draft is a preliminary document that consisted in an instrument to initiate the mandatory debate in order to confront the sector expectation in the conference of the Parliament an the European Union that will be held in 2008. On behalf of the importance of the Spain Ceramic industry with a turnover of 6.000 M€ in the context of 27.000 M€ of the total of the European Ceramic industries, and due to the relevance of such spanish turnover on the Gross Domestic Product, it must necessary to analyze their own future strategy.
