| Description: | The fragile agrosystems of Peñaflor have very limiting edaphic and climatic conditions. As a result of poor land management in some areas, part of the vegetation cover of trees and shrubs has been destroyed, notably increasing soil erosion.
Conservation of these fragile landscapes requires first of all to identify the more sensitive areas being inappropiately used. An approach to assess land capability and to design land use applying GIS techniques in presented here. Peer reviewed |
