| dc.description | In the different countries, various safety net systems were developed in the last half century to avoid accidental falls during structure building. The vertical safety net system genuine from Spain, as well as the other systems, have suffered some serious and fatal accidents, that led to improvements in their design. In the first part of his paper, the behaviour of the spanish vertical safety net system is analyzed in the light of some previous experiments and a simplified mathematical model, that allow to assess some design defects and to set up their qualitative correction. In a second part, the results of other dynamic experiments with weight fall over instrumented prototypes and the conclusions of another more complex and adjusted numerical model will be focused.<br><br>Para la prevención de caídas al vacío con riesgo de heridas graves o muerte durante la construcción de edificios, en los distintos países se desarrollaron durante la mitad del S XX diversos sistemas de redes de seguridad. En el sistema de redes verticales, genuino y prácticamente exclusivo de España, se han registrado, al igual que en el resto de sistemas, varios accidentes graves y mortales que han conducido a mejoras en ellos. En la primera parte de este artículo se analiza el funcionamiento del sistema español de redes verticales a la luz de algunos ensayos previos y de un modelo matemático simplificado, que permiten apreciar algunos defectos de diseño y establecer su corrección cualitativa. En una segunda parte se expondrán los resultados de otra serie de ensayos dinámicos con lanzamiento de lastre sobre prototipos instrumentados y las conclusiones de un modelo numérico más complejo y ajustado a la realidad. | - |
