| Description: | The current state of development of the technologies of information and communications is modifying the way the project of designing, executing and maintaining a Building must face.<br> On the one hand during the Building cycle of live it is generated an important amount of information that is managed by different people or different teams. The responsibility of these people starts and ends with the different project phases.<br> On the other hand the knowledge required to describe and manage properly a medium size building system is sp read in an important number of technological and scientific disciplines. Because the current level of development of these technologies this knowledge management must be shared out between different specialists.<br> In this situation building management will overtake managers human capabilities if they are not provided with the adequate computer based tools.<br><br>El desarrollo de las tecnologías de tratamiento de información y las telecomunicaciones está modificando la forma más adecuada de enfrentarse al proyecto de diseño. construcción y explotación de un Edificio.<br> Por un lado a lo largo del ciclo de vida de un Edificio se genera y debe gestionarse una gran cantidad de información cuya gestión corresponde a diferentes personas o grupos de trabajo cuya responsabilidad empieza y termina según se van sucediendo las diferentes fases de proyecto.<br> Por otro lado los conocimientos necesarios para describir y gestiona r con eficacia el sistema constituido por un edificio de mediana complejidad están dispersos en un amplio número de disciplinas tecnológicas y científicas. Debido al desarrollo actual de las distintas tecnologías la gestión de estos conocimientos debe ser realizada por personal especializado.<br> En esta situación la gestión óptima del edificio como un sistema integrado está asociada con la gestión de un sistema de información cuya complejidad frecuentemente desbordará la capacidad de las personas responsables del proyecto si no disponen de las herramientas adecuadas. |
