| Description: | The Water Sports Center is the result of an international competition convoked through the Madrid Town Council and wined, in december 2002, by the architect Juan José Medina.<br>The project was structured in three glass boxes containing the program.<br>The building is transparent like a permanent reference tothe water, the roof opens, creating shadows outside and allowing the light to pass inside.<br><br>El Centro de Deportes Acuáticos responde al concurso Internacional por invitación convocado por elExcmo. Ayuntamiento de Madrid y ganado en diciembre delaño 2002 por el arquitecto Juan José Medina<br>El proyecto se estructura en tres cajas de vidrio que contienen el programa.<br>El edificio es transparente, como referencia permanente al agua, la cubierta se abre creando sombras al exterior y permitiendo el paso de la luz al interior. |
