| Description: | The papers dealing with the built heritage submitted to the 1st Seminar on Construction Research, together with the keynote address and the conclusions reached in the final debate, provide a fairly representative overview of the present situation in Spain in this specific area of research: namely, intervention in buildings, monumental or otherwise. The author sustains that a field in which progress has been insufficient is in the establishment of the fundamental criteria for the specific training for professionals engaging in such research, i.e., architects, engineers and the like normally involved in this type of intervention, whose specific training is far from ideal. The author draws from his personal experience to propose criteria and academic content that may prove to be useful for the constructive renovation of such training.<br><br>Las comunicaciones presentadas sobre el tema del Patrimonio Construido de las I Jornadas de Investigación en Construcción, junto con la ponencia general y las conclusiones a las que se llego en el debate final, dibujan un panorama bastante representativo de la situación actual en España de este ámbito particular de la investigación relacionado con la intervención sobre edificios monumentales o no. Según el autor, un campo en el que no se ha avanzado lo suficiente es el que establece las bases de la formación específica que deben recibir los profesionales de esas investigaciones, entre los que se deben incluir los profesionales habituales de la intervención, arquitectos, ingenieros, etc. cuya formación particular dista mucho de ser la adecuada para dicha actividad. A partir de su experiencia personal, el autor propone un conjunto criterios y contenidos académicos que pueden ser útiles para renovar positivamente esa formación. |
