Title: A Mechanical Arm Control System

Description: This paper describes a proposed mechanical arm control system and some of the lines of thought which led to this design. In particular, the paper discusses the basic systme required in order for the arm to control its environment, and deal with error situations which arise. In addition the paper discusses the system needed to control the motion of the arm using the computed torque drive method, and force feedback.
