dc.description The classical dynamics of the two-dimensional electron gas in antidot lattices is studied in the presence of an in-plane magnetic field. We find that the distortion of the Fermi contour induced by the in-plane magnetic field changes the Poincaré section of the electron trajectories in the magnetic field. Comparison with the experimental measurements of the commensurability magnetoresistance oscillations is made.
