dc.description Czech libraries have undergone significant changes since the fall of communism in 1989. All facets of Czech librarianship have been affected and continue to evolve as the country adopts international practices and standards. OSU catalog librarian Richard Sapon-White's presentation covers the state of Czech libraries, drawing on his six months of observation earlier this year while teaching cataloging at Charles University in Prague, Czech Republic. His presentation focuses on Czech library education, cataloging practices, and other aspects of library culture.
